Hey everyone. Well, I've been looking all over the internet for a respectable golf forum. Hopefully this will be the one :)

Well to start off...my name is Phil. I'm asian...specifically South Korean. I've been playing golf on and off since I was about 12. I started getting serious about golf in my freshman year of highschool. I was about 14 then? And now I'm 16....so i've been playing golf for about 3 years...Ya...but im totally obsessed with golf now. People tend to look at me in a wierd way because I'm a young fella, and golf is "meant" to be played by old people. I say wtf ever, it's fun and addicting. Well...happy posting

Welcome Phil. Respectable? Hopefully. :P Yeah, this is a pretty cool place to talk golf. If you're obsessed with Golf you're in the right place because there are a lot of people here in the same boat, including myself, regardless of the fact that I've been working on my house and not my game for a couple of weeks. I do chip in the back yard several times a week which helps to stave off some of the rust.

Geoff Oglivy said that a good chipping stroke leads to a good full swing so I'm hoping that translates into something positive for me some day. I've been at the game for almost two years and haven't made the progress you have but I still believe there's hope.

Do you get to play much?

Well in the off season, I only play about once per two weeks.
When High School Golf season comes, I play my ass off.
We literally get like 3 free rounds a week.

However, when soccer season rolls in, I dont play golf.
This totally messes up my golf game.

cool dude keep it up, I played alot when i was young like you then gave it up for years, now i could kick myself thinking how much better i could have been
