I've been playing whatever I have around or found in the weeds (I know I shouldn't be in there ). I want to add a bit more consistancy and feel to my game, so looking for a few new balls to try out.

I tend to hit the ball high and plenty long.. so distance is not something needed. I am looking for something with more feel that doesn't feel like a rock. I don't really hook or slice.. if I go right or left it's a pull or push but straight. Better feel around the greens and with irons would be great. Price is a factor but not everything... different priced options would be appreciated.

A few I read about were the Titleist NXT Tour, Bridgestone e6+, Top Flight Gamer and on the cheaper end the Maxfli Noodle Long & Soft. Are there any others you would suggest?

if you want something very affordable but has decent feel to it, try the Precept Laddie Extreme or EV Extra Spins. If you want to spend a LITTLE more, try the Bridgestone TreSoft or e6+. if you lose them, they wont hurt your wallet so much. and they all have a good feel to them, just depends on whcih one you like best

You didn't mention a price range. If you are willing to pay top dollar, then Tour i (Callaway) are good balls, despite what a lot of people here say about Callaway balls. I would recommend the new Bridgestone b330 RX, but if you already hit it long, then you may not need the extra compression. Have you tried the old reliable Pro V1x? I know its en vogue to find alternatives to the Pro V line, but there is a reason they are so popular (and expensive). Get fitted and see what works on a monitor, or just buy a sleeve of several top balls.

I like the Pinnacle Gold FX Long, I just bought the "soft" version to try them out for a better feel for approach shots.

I buy mine from gent on ebay.
Heres link to his items, daved18
They are used ,but in my 2 previous purchases (aaa quality balls) the balls look almost fresh from the box.
Mention my name, Steve Rayburn, and he may give ya a deal
or charge you more lol
Email him if you don't see something on ebay that you want, he may have it but not yet listed.
Good luck in your search.

Like a previous poster said, if you have the extra cash, you can't go wrong with a Pro V1 or Pro V1x. I like to buy X-Outs because they are about $15 less per dozen. I get them at around 30/dozen as opposed to 40-45/dozen.

Ok.. here is what I orderd... a dozen of each of various grades for a total of less than $50:

Maxfli Noodle Long & Soft - Economy Level
Bridgestone e6+ - Mid Level
Titleist NXT Tour - Mid Level
Titleist Pro V1 - Upper Level
TaylorMade TP Black LDP - Upper Level

Now it needs to cool down so I can get some rounds in..
