Posted 9 hole score on ghin.. not showing

I just posted a 9 hole score on ghin, and it's not showing up in recent scores or anything.. should I wait or do I need another 9 hole score for it to show up?

They don't take nine-hole scores for your handicap. They combine them with your next nine-hole score to make an 18-hole total differential, which will then show up with a "C" in your list of results.

I just got a GHIN account myself. I put in a 9 hole score (my most recent) and nothing shows. I also put in an 18 hole score and that also doesn't show in my recent scores list.

I don't think scores show up until the first revision. Mine doesn't show any scores after 6/19 right now - and we just got a revision five or six days ago. So the ones I posted yesterday or four days ago don't show up on the website yet, no.

Also, who cares until you get more than five or six scores - you won't have a very accurate handicap with 27 holes in.

I wasn't worried about not having a handicap, I was worried that somehow my scores weren't being "taken" by the system. In the recent scores posted section nothing at all showed up for me. However under "myStats" they did.

I figured out the problem. It seems that GHIN's main page doesn't like Webkit based browsers (Safari, Chrome). It works fine when I log in from Firefox where all my recent scores show up.

I got deleted out of the computer this year and it took two revision cycles to get back up to speed. On the first I went from inactive to active with no data and NH listed as my index. On the second all my old data showed up with an index value.

Probably shouldn't panic unless more than two revision cycles go by without anything showing up. But like Eric already said, a single 9 hole scores won't show up without a mate.
