Anyone playing this driver? If so, what are your thoughts on it compared to the R9 460? Thinking of picking one up and upgrading from my Titliest 905R.

Honestly the best way to find out is to demo them. Not trying to be rude, but at a 20 handicap maybe the money would be better spent on lessons? But if you can't demo I would suggest googling for reviews.

A quote from Kris
...is that college bball really isn't "lower tier". The better teams have their rosters filled with guys who could play in the NBA. hell, guys used to come straight from high school to the NBA. I really don't think there's much of a difference skill-wise between the two.

I got one with the free hybrid/fairway wood deal. I upgraded from a really cheap golden bear driver so for me it was a big upgrade. I haven't hit the R9 but I did demo the burner against the diablo and adams speedline and while all 3 clubs seemed competitive, I liked the burner best. Since you have a similar hdcp, I would guess that you would be better saving the $100 by getting a burner over the R9 (or even get the 07 burner for $150) and spend the savings on lessons

In my offbrand bag....
