Lurking for a while so I thought I would join up. Like the title says I'm from Iowa. Just got back into the game @ 4 years ago and it sucked me in big time and now I'm hooked, usually playing 3-4 times a week. Anyways just thought I'd say whats up.

In my bag:

I keep meaning to bring my clubs out when I visit my in-laws (NE of Des Moines) but never seem to remember when it's time to pack :(

I just joined this place also. Westcentral Iowa for me. I play @ Mannning/Manilla GC (member). I just started playing regularly last yr. I stink (at GOLF) but I love playing and doing my part in keeping ball mfg folks working!

      Day 40: short range session. Worked on my drill mostly. Finished with some full swings and driver swings. Range was packed because it was so nice out. Solid session though.

      Day 5, 1/3/26.  Today was a weird day schedule-wise, but I did find 15 minutes to hit 6-iron shots (indoors, off a mat, into a net).  I also got to thinking about yesterday's round and, other than a few thin shots (that I think were weather/grip related), I didn't have any wild non-driver shots, which was weird for me.  I need to get back to video, which is tough in my setup. Also, this wouldn't count on its own, but anyone reading this and thinking about doing their own 5 minutes daily, check out Fit for Golf's latest podcast episode.  It's only a few minutes and Mike does a great job talking about the importance of doing a bit each day.  That also reminded me, I let my FFG subscription lapse, I'm going to renew it.
