Right now I have a cheapo dunlop set that I bought 2 months back when I started...but i am looking at overhauling my bag w/ entirely new clubs, as I feel that I have outgrown these clubs and feel that I can not go to much farther with them. So my question to you is, what clubs would give the best bang for the buck, in all categories...

*Club and Tendency*
Driver: Inconsistent w/ a slice
Woods: Can't hit a 3 wood if I had to, just brings up alot of dirt, I think it's because it feels just like the driver, have been looking at some of the flatter woods.
Irons: Hit my 5 iron around 150-165 on a good hit, and am pretty consistent w/ my irons, just sometimes not a good consistency
Hybrids: Only have a 4 hybrid, but I really struggle w/ it, not sure if its because its a cheaper club or what not, but i really find it hard to hit, except off the tee which i am then fine with.
Wedges: Currently only have a P wedge...:(
Putter: This is about the only thing I am good at, I can 1-2 putt most holes even though i tend to usually be far away from the hole on my first putt.

This will be a graduall process of revamping my clubs, just not really sure where to start or what equipment to even being trying out. Thanks!

Irons
I would consider this set for about $205. The Mizuno Comp Ez, I played this set 2 set of club ago and they are improvement cavity set that easy enough to hit and carrying you into the single digit handicap. The head are slightly oversize and forged for a softer feel. I feel its a quality set and I still own a set.

Driver
Any older Taylor Made Driver are easy and forgiving to hit you can find the newest model within your budget.

Wedges
Mizuno wedges are forged, but you might look into Cleveland or Vokeys

Putter
Ping, Scotty, Cleveland, Bettinardi are all excellent and a matter of personal preference.

Woods
Taylor Made, Callaway start with a 7 wood, 5 wood, wait on a 3 wood as one of the last club to purchase since they are harder to hit off the fairway.

Hybrids
help fill in the gap from long iron and woods

Titleist 910 D2 9.5 Driver
Titleist 910 F15 & 21 degree fairway wood
Titleist 910 hybrid 24 degree
Mizuno Mp33 5 - PW
52/1056/1160/5

"Yonex ADX Blade putter, odyssey two ball blade putter, both  33"

If you're looking for a good forgiving set of irons for cheap, check callaway preowned and outlet. They have a good selection and with some persistence and patience you can find something good for cheap.

Also check their "other brands" section, they have other brands like Mizuno, Titleist, Ping, etc.. that sell for even cheaper than the Callaways.
My achievements:
Eagles: 0
Birdies: 18
Best Round: 89
