I am about to buy a 909 d3 driver and before I spend $400 on a club, I just wanted to make sure if there is a slight chance anyone knows if they are lowering the price. I know they are not taylormade, lowering the price 4 months after introduction, but just for grins I wanted to know just to be on the safe side.

I've seen a $100 price drop on the 909D Comp but that's it thus far.

I bought a 909D2 a couple of weeks ago & one of my best mates is the trainee pro & he would have mentioned to me if they were going to drop soon.
I paid $529 AUD + $85 AUD for the god damn shaft. I'm in australia though so it might be different in america.

EBAY MY FRIEND, EBAY!

they are half the price they are in the store AND you can usually find one w an upgraded shaft
i just bought a 907 D2 for $125 CDN shipped in MINT condish
i have seen 909's for like 150-180USD + shipping, sometimes its free

i am all for supporting local shops and your club, but dude if you can save $200 on your driver, thats a few more rounds you can get in

i just dont see the point of spending so much on a big stick

Titleist drivers don't generally drop in price until they are ready to release the next model. Titleist seems to release new models about every three or four years, so I'd say they won't be dropping anytime soon. If they do drop, it would be at most $100. Probably not even that much.

Like another poster said, I'd look on ebay for a slightly used one if you're not looking to pay the brand new price.
