Is the seller legit?

I've never dealt with them but you don't get over 11,000 feedback with 99.8% positive if you aren't legit. BTW, just as a piece of friendly advice... I'd never post a link to an active auction you want to bid on. All you are doing is increasing the chances you will get outbid by someone on the forum (any forum, not a slam on this one) that sees it and wants it more than you do.

Has anyone on here ever considered starting a thread with the EBAY sellers with whom they have dealt with and are known to be legit? And then just adding to that over time?

Honestly, with ebay's feedback system I don't know if is necessary. Granted, most people are going to leave positive feedback, but when you get into high 4 digit or 5 digit feedback scores and have over 99% positive that says a lot more to me than any forum thread. A thread here would only tell you that the seller had a single legit transaction. The feedback tells you they've had 10,000 or more legit transactions. Which is more valuable?
