For those of you that still use a 3w, what is the weight of your shaft? Do you prefer one that matches your driver or is it heavier?

Are 3 woods on the way out? I didn't get the memo....

I like all of my fairway woods to be a little heavier like my irons so I put steel S300 stafts in everything except driver.

It seems more people seem to be going for the hybrid instead, why, I don't know. On any given round, I usually use my 3w off the tee more than the driver.

I haven't seen many 3w hybrids in the wild, doesn't mean they're not out there. Generally most people will put a 17, 19, 21 or 24 degree hybrid in the bag to replace their 5w, 3i or 4i.
