I just picked up a set of MP 67 on ebay that are +.5 inches in shaft length. I technically need standard or +.25 inches longer.

Is it worth shaving them down or just choke up a quarter inch?

ya know, according to all my measurements, I should be using standard length clubs. But I bought a set of clubs off of ebay recently that turned out to be +1". I was a little upset about this until I realized that the added length has allowed me to get under the ball so much more often that I'm glad things turned out the way they did.

I say keep them they way they are. if the 1/4" bothers you, choke up an extra 1/4". I bet you hardly notice, and that way you aren't spending any money getting them fixed.

For a quarter inch, I'd just choke up. Just my two cents...

Well if you are in, say, your teens, and are still going to add a couple inches in height over the next few years I say for now, just choke. If you aren't going to be growing any time soon, I'd say get them cut. I hate choking up on clubs.
