Hi everyone,

I started to keep a handicap this year on a free website (won't name it). I had a pretty good round going and shot a 86. However, I had one 10 and one 8. When I post on that website, should I change them to 7s because my handicap so far is 13.

Does this make sense?

Yes according to ESC you should change them to sevens.

If the site doesn't do it for you automatically, yes. Be aware, esc is based on your course handicap, not your handicap index, so you need to double check that before applying esc. At an index of 13, I wouldn't expect your course handicap to be so different as to affect the esc though. http://www.usga.org/handicapping/art...rol-Procedure/

Well, if you aren't entering scores hole-by-hole, its not, because it can't know if you got 2 7s or a 4 and a 10.

If you can edit or delete scores, enter a round with all eagles on 18 holes and a 50 on the last hole. It should be pretty clear if it cuts that 50 to a 7.
