I'm running low on my supply of e6s, and I'm going to switch to the e6+ after some success with it in my last few rounds. Between stocking up on e6 when I first fell in love and then later switching to a different type of ball for a year, I had plenty of time.

I'm a big fan of practicing your short game with the balls you're going to play with. Of course, I would practice my long game with them too if that were an option. I don't really understand when people practice chipping with range balls or a random assortment. The e6 reacts differently on the green, even to my chipping, than a ball like the TP Black. And the range balls are a different animal all together.

Well, I have about 20 used e6s that I wouldn't play a round with if I could help it, but that are good enough to use for chipping. My question is: will using these, when I'll be playing with e6+, be close enough, or should I put them aside and wait to eat through a few e6+s during rounds? And maybe even taking a few "fresh" e6+s for chipping practice at first.
