Bendable irons?

its my understanding that some irons dont bend.
what are the characteristics of irons that dont bend?

Im asking because i am thinking about having the lie adjusted on my Taylormade Rac OS2.

This has nothing do with your question but it just popped into my mind when I read the word bendable. I once hit my old X-14 8 iron on a 2nd shot (approach) attacking a green guarded by a lake from the front, but my shot was short and it sank. I got very angry and I hit the club hard against the ground and threw it away.

Next time on the range I got it out and instantly noticed something was wrong about it; it got bent. I tried rebending it as much as I could to it's original shape that it has become really unnoticable unless you know it is bent, and surprisingly I seem to be hitting it better than ever. Actually I used it from the tee on my last 2 par 3 birdies!!

I will have to get a hold on myself with my new clubs though.

I think forged irons can be bent to specific lofts/lie while cast irons cannot.
