Does anyone else own one of these drivers. My last driver was a Titleist 975D and I just feel like my new nike driver is so light and plastic like.

I don't have the driver, but I have a hybrid from the SQ series. It feels like a near perfect weight: rather light, but not so light that I don't feel I can control it.

I have one,,,beginner golfer, if i swing as hard as i can i swing about 100 mph, so i bought a 10.5 regular flex bc since im a beginner i dont plan on swinging with all my might til i can control ,,,however (not to thread jack) i cannot hit this w/o a crazy slice. And im so suprised since everyone on here says how straight it is, i mussssst be doing something wrong

any help??

Not a problem... I also have the 10.5 in reg flex as a beginner also and I slice the heck out of mine... must be the golfer not the club for my situation.

Yes, I'm 99.9% sure it's the golf swing, not the club.

You could get a "draw" bias driver to help you reduce the slice, but that would only contain it, not cure it.

Swing easy...nice and easy :)

I have the 5000 as well and like it. Soon to be replaced with a Dymo2 w/ UST v2 shaft, but that's just because I like trying new drivers and I really liked this shaft when I tried it.

In my Datrek Rage bag:
Driver: Sumo 5000 w/ Aldila VS Proto Stiff
4-Wood: SasQuatch 2 w/ Diamana Stiff
Irons: AP2 4-PW w/ PX 6.0
Wedges: Zodia US Spec 52*, Yururi Gekku 57*, 588 DSG RTG+Putter: Scotty Cameron Studio Style 3.5 or Odyssey White Hot Tour #1Ball: ProV1 or whatever I find!

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
    • I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
