In my Xtreme Sport II bag:
Driver: Dymo2 11.5*
3-Wood: Dymo2 15*
Hybrid: (4) 23*
Irons: Sumo 4-SW
Wedges: CG14 60* LW
Putter: 34" White Hot XG Sabretooth

Am I missing any clubs from my bag?

More specifically do I need to add a 5-Wood?

Or is it OK, to have the 3-Wood and 4-Hybrid arrangement?

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Is your handicap really 30? If so you might want to if you have the cash. I have a 3 wood 15* and hybrid 19* then I go to the 3 iron. All Depends on your game. I have less clubs in my bag now than I ever had and my scores keep getting lower.

Also were you branded by Nike because of a sales person or because thats what you like. Cleveland branded me about 4 years ago and I thought I was doing the right thing by changing all my stuff to the full set from irons to drivers and even putter and it ruined my game.

Thats if you play in a serious league. I play by the book all the way but alot of people that arent that great dont really care.

Yep, handicap is really 30.

Suppose I've made a pretty big investment considering my relatively poor handicap - although combined will all the time I've been putting in at the range and professional instruction these will surely see my handicap reduce.

I bought these clubs after having a demo day and fitting session: tried out various brands inc. Callway, TaylorMade, Cobra, Ping etc...and really enjoyed the Sumo irons and Dymo2 woods. So I wouldn't say I've been "branded". To be honest I was initially quite reluctant to even try out Nike, I never saw them in the same regard as companies such as Callaway, TaylorMade and Ping etc...what can I say, I just hit straighter and longer with these clubs!

Just wanted to know when a 5-wood is better to use than a 4-hybrid. I left it out because I felt that in that range, the accuracy of the hybrid is better than the additional yards I may get out of a 5-wood.

Also I've heard that sometimes a 4-iron is better than a 4-hybrid. Is this true, and if so in what situations?

The gap between your 3w and the hybrid might be a bit much, considering you have a 4 iron AND a 4H. Maybe you could replace the Hybrid with a 20* instead of adding a 5w??

I don't know though, making a change just based on lofts is not always the wise option. My setup is unconventional but fits my game, so I would recommend you go with what fits yours, regardless of the numbers on the clubs.

Why do you have a 4-hybrid and a 4-iron? Do you hit your 4-iron well? If so, I would recommend using your 4-iron, tossing the 4-hybrid and getting a 3-hybrid.

It's simply cheating if you are going to carry more than 14 clubs in your bag - it's LAME. I don't care if you are playing in a serious tournament, league, or just for a score for your handicap. It's stupid, follow the rules at least A LITTLE. I can only imagine how you are following the rules on the golf course if you can't even keep the clubs to the 14 club limit.

I was thinking of getting the 3-Hybrid, it would certainly have filled in the gap better between the 3-Wood.

But I prefer the loft and ease of use of the 4-Hybrid. I can't hit the 4-iron anywhere near as well as I can hit the 4-Hybrid. Think I'm going to just toss the 4-iron.

I would add a 3 hybrid and 5 wood and get rid of the 4 iron, that would give you 14 clubs as you have 13 now.

I'm in a similar situation to yourself (skill level, existing clubs etc) and have considered a few different options...

In the end I tossed the 4 iron and put in a 3 hybrid...

I'd also look at the other end of the bad and consider a 56 degree wedge assuming the sand wedge is only 52 or so...
