Was looking at some of these in my local golf shop this morning and didn't really know anything about them. The store owner (PGA Pro) and his assistant (also PGA Pro) both play Srixon clubs so I'm a little hesitant to listen to them because of bias, etc.

So I was curious as to whether or not anyone else has played with these before or has any thoughts? Thanks!

well... I have never heard anything about them really

one fair warning, pro shops attendents and pro's make healthy stiffs (commissions) off of clubs like srixon, because they are a company trying to get a foothole in the industry, companies like Titleist, Taylormade and Callaway give like 2.50 a club whereas someone like Nickent and Srixon and Cleveland (well cleveland 2 years ago) are giving almost 20 a club

most people do not know that commissions comes from manufacturers and not the store as an incentive to sell more... so this may not apply in your situation as these guys may be you friends but just a heads up

... I think your getting a little ahead of yourself here .... The word is "spiffs", not stiffs ...... any spiffs, commissions, bonus in volume purchases go the house, not the staff .... the store manager decides on where and when that money goes .. some stores do, some don't depending on the area of the country .... That said .. if a particular golfer likes the feel and play of that club, then who cares if the golf shop makes an extra $10 or $15 .....
Whats in the bag.?

I'm well aware of that... that's why I was a little hesitant to listen to them and take their word for it.

I work strictly on commission so I'm also well aware of how that system works. But as long as it's not costing me anything extra to buy the club and I like it, then what do I care?

I hear you on that one... I am always a little weary of companies who sort of join the bandwagon a little later than everyone else...

but its all feel... and personal taste, I am looking forward to the release of the 585H but my 503 is relatively new and I don't know if I want to replace it... on another not, I am thinking of replacing my 904 with a 906 (for some reason, I don't know...) either to replace my 15 degree 904 or add a 5 wood in the 906... right now I'm carrying a 22 degree hybrid and only have room for one club in the bag...

19 degree 585H or a 17 degree 906F2 ... what to do... what to do
