Hello everyone, new guy here!

I honestly cannot figure out my problem! I dont change my swing or grip from any other shot when i'm hitting a full 7-pw to the par 3's. I get a pretty significant draw that is giving me alot of in-consistancy on approach shots...

I take huge divots when I hit from 150 yds and in (if that matters?).. I analyze the direction of the marks and there isnt any evidence of the club coming across the ball.... I guess i'm clueless as to what i'm doing wrong...

I try and put the balls in the middle of my stance, drop the club and take ahold. Could I be standing too far away? I notice I dont get a whole lot of height on my higher irons either...

Check your alignment. Sounds more like a pull hook with a closed face than anything.

I'm actually fighting / in the process of correcting this same problem right now. I took a lesson the other night and actually found out that what is causing these annoying draws and hooks is that my swing is actually coming too far from the inside. As a result, I feel like I have to compensate for the inside-out swing path and flip the club face at the bottom, resulting in a closed face and draw spin.

The advice given to me was to focus on trying to keep your arms a bit further away from your body on the downswing. Picture (or even practice with) something the size of a basketball between your arms while you swing. And don't forget to square the clubface at the bottom of your swing.

Interesting info, thanks guys!

I just recieved both of my new Titleist wedges in the mail and was able to get out this morning to hit a few.. The 52* I am able to out ALOT of spin on the ball... This was fun for the first dozen balls or so, as i've never actually seen such a dramatic spin from any of my shots before. The spin is the wrong direction! I have a slight draw with the club, but the spin takes the ball hits and bounces then shooots straight left anywhere from 1'-5'! Something is wrong with my stance or something!?
