Project x vs. project x flighted

I know the difference is basically that flighted makes long irons go high while short irons go lower and regular project x is the same kick point throughout the set. My question is do the short irons go the same distance with both shafts even though the flighted make them go lower for control.

They have this diagram on the PX site. Carry distance looks the same, and the PX flighted I hit in the simulator vs my rifles went the same yardage... but who knows with a simulator...
