Hi, has anyone had dealings with '••••••••••'. Some of there clubs are amazingly cheap and when i emailed them to ask why they told me that all products are OEM.
I was looking at callaway x-22 tour irons that are 200 pound cheaper than anywhere else I've found.

Thanks

Neil

All those 1000 dollar irons for 300 just sounds too good. Like Cussin said, might be fake.

That site is registered by "Domains By Proxy", a sister company of the domain registration company GoDaddy. It's a company used to allow private domain registration. This would be incontrast to a known-good site like 3balls.com, who is registered under a person's name (Leigh Bader). Then again rockbottomgolf.com, another legit site, is privately registered under register.com.

It may be that they company is legit. They may use the registration proxy to avoid spam, or because they don't know or don't care that GoDaddy registered the domain via their proxy service. Or they might be selling fake clubs and don't want people to find out they're the Jackie Chan Fake Golf Club Conglomerate.

Some of the prices are great, some aren't. Example, the FT-i is $149, I can buy it at Dick's for the same price. But the FT-iq is $170, you can't find an IQ anywhere for that price, much less new.

But in the description, it says "Notice: Price on show only for one unit!" What the heck does that mean? Sounds like Engrish to me.

In the blue Colts bag:

Driver - FT-5 10°
Hybrids - 4DX 15.5°, 20°
Irons/Wedges - CI-7 4-GW, SW | "Free" Warrior 60° LWPutter - TiffanyBalls - various

Looking at some of the "reviews", they are pretty generic, with very stereotypical white american names.

Just visited •••••••••• and saw they offer Titleist....I thought Titleist only distributes to authorized dealers, hence, no online sales. Except used.

You can buy Titleist online. You just have to adhere to their MAP although companies get around that buy making you put the item in the cart to see the price.

As for the OP, it sounds fishy. Even the name sounds like Engrish.

This site has scam written all over it. The prices are not reasonable. Some are very cheap when they shouldn't, some are very high when they shouldn't.

A single Mizuno wedge for $244??
Tietlist AP2 iron set (3-PW) for $346??

Nope. Sorry. Looks very suspicious to me.

EDIT: http://www.••••••••••.com/mizuno-mp-...-pw-p-354.html

The MP Fli Hi irons are offered only in the 2, 3, 4 and 5 clubs. Where did they get the (3-PW) thing??
Keep away from this site. At most benign assumptions, they are unprofessionals who do not have an idea about what they sell and will probably give you a hard time. And most probably they are scammers.

EDIT2(!!): Oh, no way. This site looks like it has been set up by a drunk. It's not even funny anymore.

    • I have an update… I don't have much of a response, because the fact that they would ADD the numbers for the lead and trail shoulder together… I mean, wow. I was giving them too much credit. Nobody would think to assume they were doing THAT. That's beyond comical. One of the biomechanists I talked to put it this way: "So if I squatted down and went from 180 to 90 deg knee angle, then I would say 180 deg range of motion because I have two knees?" I'd type more (maybe), but honestly, I'm laughing a bit too hard. 🤣 Update: Mini Manavian blocked me on Instagram, so I cannot see his post showing Bryson with about 50° of range of motion (with a driver) from P4 to P7, and 75° only if you go out to the mid-follow-through. What a terrible loss for me. 😉
    • Thanks, interesting to read. The swing is definitely very timing dependent. I hit it consistently I guess but consistently bad.
    • I've shot 91-74 on the same day before. Couple of years ago played a two round tournament on Bethpage Black. I shot 72 in the first round and 90 in the second. First round I played very well. Second round I played okay, but had about 5 shots that hit the lips of bunkers and bounced down into them. A couple of those wound up in footprints - I was unamused - and I failed to get them out. Anyway - lots of bunkers and my bunker play isn't great and then add a couple of footprints and me getting pretty tired and it added up to a lot.  Only you can really tell though what's causing the variance. It might be that your swing is very timing dependent and when it's timed well you play well and when it's not then it goes all over the place. In that case, some lessons and working on your swing could be the key. If it's more that you tend to feel like you hit it fairly consistently, but you have days where the shots come off and days where they don't, then that's more likely a course management issue. If that's what you need to work on, then you could read Lowest Score Wins and build a plan of attack based on that.  Rest assured though that a pretty big range from high to low is fairly common. Even PGA Tour players often have 18-20 shot spreads from best to worst rounds in a season. It's a common affliction among golfers.
