Should I invest in the Callaway x-20's??

Right now I have Nike slingshots but do not feel to comfortable with them. I bought them as my first set of irons last year withour ever trying them first. I like the feel of the x-20's and have hit them a couple times at sporting goods stores. I usually shoot around 90 and this is really my first year playing. Am I not good enough to reep the benefits of the x-20's??

I'm no better than you at golf I'm sure, but logically speaking... If you don't like the way your current irons feel, you do like the way x-20s feel, and you have the money and desire to buy them, then it seems like you should just do it. They're not current-generation clubs so you should be able to find a decent deal on them, and you should be able to trade in or sell your slingshots for a decent price too.

Golf is such a mental game thus confidence and feel play such a huge part of the success of any given shot. Get something that you like and would have more confidence in.

They are indeed out of stock now according to the site I got the link from. They are saying though that the graphite X-20's are listed at $499 and coupon code X20818 brings them down to $399. That is also an awesome deal if you like graphite shafts in your irons.

Eh. If they had stiff I probably would. Pretty sure I'd break regular graphite shafts.

Why would you go to Callaway for player's clubs. If anything, go to Cobra Carbon CBs. 300 bucks next to new on ebay, and far superior cast irons with blade feel.
