Should I try and sneak one more round in this month?

It's a big deal for me to get my handicap index under 20. Technically, it's going to be 19.9488 if I don't play again this month (meaning tomorrow). Will GHIN round this to 19.9, or while they give me a 20.0?

[nevermind]While I cannot guarantee a good round, I am thinking about going out tomorrow and trying to get one more low round in and helping insure my index is < 20. I do have tons of work to do, though :S[/nevermind]

[nevermind]So, two questions:[/nevermind] will GHIN give me the 19.9? [nevermind]And...if they don't...should I head out tomorrow?[/nevermind]

You're worrying way too much about a number. If you really do like golfing, go out and play tomorrow. Play as well as you can and don't be concerned with a number.

People choose on their own what to worry about. I appreciate the suggestion, but I find breaking 20 to be an important and exciting milestone and I'm verrrrry close to it.

Oh never mind.... Let me just keep the first question out there: will it be 19.9 or 20.0?

Since you're posting on an open forum for advice on whether to play one more round. I would like to add my 2 cents and I couldn't agree more with Denver, if you enjoy golfing go, regardless of the number.

I can say this from experience, when I go out trying to play for a number, I f*ck up royally and kill my round. So if you're truly worried about a number, skip the round.

However, If you're time golf season is limited and you have the time, go out and enjoy the weather and the ability to be able to golf.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.
