Has anyone on here hit this. I was looking to replace my driver shaft and noticed this driver had the UST V2 on it. It is selling now for 90 dollars and seems to be packed with technology.

Any thoughts? From what it sounds like it has a very tiny sound. What about the ball flight?

Excellent driver, very similar to the Cleveland Hibore XLS in design and performance. If you can ignore the strange hollow sound it makes,it is well worth it. Very long and forgiving driver. I bought my 10.5 degree Spine last spring and am very pleased with it.

happy with it here. I'm not a long ball hitter with it (though I can really crank my irons), avg about 265. I'll usually get a couple out there pushing 300 on a good day.

the sound is horrible when you mis hit it, but its awesome when you really catch one the way you want. I love playing with my buddies cause they'll laugh at how loud it is...but then 9 holes later when I'm 6 strokes up on them, I think the sound starts to get at them hahaha

you keep cranking them out there and the big sound just echoes across the course.

Futuresport: Sorry to stray a little from the topic, but I noticed you play Wilson Staff equipment as well. I always used Wilson since my Dad played with the Wilson K-28s over 30 years ago. I play the Spine driver and 3 wood,Fybrid 3 and 4 hybrids and the Di7 graphite shaft irons.I know Wilson isnt as popular as the other manufacturers, but I enjoy playing their clubs.

Well I got one just for the heck of it. I took it out today with no time for driving range work. It took me a few holes to get used to it (requires a different tempo, of course). I am still pretty inconsistent with it, but it's not bad at all. Mishits are LOUD - so loud that they might even be bad for your hearing.

I hit it on the screws just one time. Par 5, 470 yards. My second shot was 160 from the flagstick. (I hit the green in 2 and missed a 15 foot eagle putt, made the birdie). That club has some pop in it. I'll spend more time seeing how repeatable that straight, long shot is.

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
