I have 3 wedges Ping M/B 60* and 56* and a Ping eye 2 SW (also 56*).

*I am not looking for comments on why I carry 2 56* wedges (Please).*

I really like all of my wedges and I will never replace my eye 2 SW. So, up on the auction block is my M/B 56*, to be replaced by a 58* wedge.

My question to TheSandTrap locals, yocals, and the all knowing golfers is this:

Which wedge produces very high spin rates and is 'reasonably' priced, that can deservedly sit next to the rest of my clubs?

G10 (VS Proto 65 X) or 905S (speeder X) / X Tour 3W (VS Proto S) / Adams Idea Tour Proto 18* (VS Proto S) / S59 Tour, Z-Z65 Cushin (D2) / Mizuno MP-T 51-06 , 56-10, / Miz TP Mills #6 ~or~ Cleveland BRZ #5

Depending on what ball you are using(2 piece distance vs 4 piece) it may not a lick of difference what wedge you play.

I personally dont see much of a difference. I've played Cleveland, Titleist, PING and right now I am playing Macgregors because they are forged, inexpensive (paid $99 buy 1 get 1 at golfsmith) and have a traditional style.

They all spin about the same but I've heard callaway makes real high spin wedges and of course the vokey spin milled and cleveland zip grooves are all well liked.

My suggestion is to get something similar to the ones you are carrying now, it will be easier to transition from one shot to the next with different clubs.
