The draft is kind of a crap shoot anyway. It’s a guess whether a player is really going to bloom in the pros. It reminds me of those kids I went to college with who were high class rank and 800/800 SATs and flunked out freshman year. College FB is a lot different than the NFL. -

I have to confess. I figured somebody would grab Sanders in the second round. He isn't perfect by any stretch, but so often NFL teams reach for quarterbacks. I only saw one Colorado Game last year and I watched it in a restaurant/pub/bar place. I have to say I thought Sanders was good. He looked accurate and his O-line was terrible. ... I mean really terrible. Kid was running for his life the second he got the ball in his hands. My thought is that quarterbacks who play behind bad O-lines in college sometimes may make better pros. They get used to having to make quick decisions, and throwing the ball with guys in their face. A lot of folks are saying his slide is because of his dad. I'm not sure if that's true or not true. I've also heard that next year's crop of QB's is supposed to be really good, so teams feel like "Hey, let's wait until next year."
