I am an intermediate golfer, I shoot low ninties and I am looking to improve my game. I currently have a pretty crappy set of irons and I am in the market for a new set. I have hit both the burner plus irons and the ping rapture's and both seem very comfortable to me. I have a slower swing speed since I am not very muscular and I am not the most inconsistent ball striker. I will hit the occassional skull shot and hook. Does anyone have any opinions on either of these sets and maybe some comparisions? Any help is greatly appreciated!

The Burner Irons are very easy to hit. Currently, there are three versions, available: The standard retail, the "B" version which is smaller and has less offset and the Japanese version, which is a progressive offset and has a much cleaner look.

These irons also have strong lofts so they might be a club longer than what you have, currently. They also are only a D2 swingweight, making them very light and giving you a little bit more clubhead speed. Although they look rather busy in the cavity, none of it is visible from address.

Go test them out. I'm sure you'll be pretty satisfied.

I like the Ping Raptures better IMO, BUT you might try the new PING G15's...

The G15's are a little cheaper and seem about the same to me /shrug
