So you can read my sig and see what kind of irons im working with now. Semi-Old. I've been hitting them ok. Straight mostly. Lots of TINY fade to it. So I've been pretty happy. The shaft is rated 80-94mph. I know with a driver I'm over 105mph. But thats with my driver. So sometimes Ive been hitting my irons WAY left. No hook, just hitting em left. I think I was aligning a little too closed, then coming over the top to compensate and end up pushing left. ANYWAY, I have an OLD Titlesit Pro100 acushnet 4 Iron in my bag. I dont know how it got there. Well I was hitting this thing straight and low and far as hell. It felt amazing. I tried pushing some off left and right and couldnt. Couldnt draw (but I never could) I COULD slice when I tried hard to but even that wasnt as bad as most slices. So... What gives? I'm trying to find a set of these in decent condition just to try on the range. BTW they are steel shafted. Im guessing that may be why the control was better (heavier) and less flex on a somewhat fast swing would help if I was geteting the clubface square at impact properly. where as the softer shafted irons with a TON of offset may be whipping and going way left at impact? I know I need to get fitted. But I don't feel like my swing is 100% grooved right now so i'm just working on that blah blah.

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
