hey brianc, if you're fighting a slice i recommend using a slight draw as your go-to shot. you said you were using a draw before and went to a fade. i did the same thing and lost my ball striking consistency. i went back to a slight draw by taking the club back on a more inside path. on the downswing i was trying to watch the impact of the ball while finishing on a more outside path. so my swing thoughts would be inside-out swing controlled by my left shoulder and finish with clubface pointing just right of the target. give it a try and i hope it helps you out.

Thanks for the replies everyone.....finally resolved this issue....back to playing a nice controlled fade....

1. Moved ball forward to inside front heal

2. Turned right hand over more on grip

Still playing an open stance and getting the ball flight I want again.....thanks guys.

Most golfers with a serious slice problem have too vertical a swing plane with their driver. It is very difficult to draw a ball with a highly vertical swing plane because it prevents the wrists from releasing fully and closing the clubface. Try to use a mirror and make your driver plane more horizontal. At first it will feel somewhat strange, a bit like hitting a baseball. Keep at it. A more horizontal plane is necessary to draw a ball (or prevent slicing) with all clubs, but most especially the driver. Much of the other advice here may help somewhat but will never cure a slice caused by too vertical a swing plane.
