I've been using this bag since Spring '09. It's a very good bag. One of the things I love about this bag is the grab handle at the top, the individual club compartments, and the easy access drink pouch. My only complaint is bag stability. You have have to pay attention that the bag is leaning downhill otherwise a stiff breeze will knock it over, and it usually happens right in the middle of your partners backswing. My previous bag was also a Sun Mountain and the legs splayed out much wider than this one. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.

One thing I did to modify my bag was epoxy some Velcro tabs on the outside of the big pocket so I could attach my golf glove while walking. I used to put my glove in my back pocket but this bag hangs down to my lower back and it would work the glove out of my pocket. After about five times of having to run back to grab my glove, I came up with this fix. I also put some different textured zippered tabs on the two big pockets so I could tell which one I was opening while the bag is on my back. They're pretty close together and difficult to differentiate when the bag is on your back.

Whoever came up with the saying, "A bad day of golf is better than a good day at work", is a moron.

...the only thing I do not like about this bag is the foot that sticks out on the bottom makes it hard to get it to work on some golf carts when I have to ride...

Using my own words from an earlier reply on this thread...

how do you make your "Four 5" work on a golf cart? ...or do you just use another bag? Thanks as I struggle to make it work well on a golf cart (depends on the type of cart as it works okay on some models just because they have more room for the bag).

Hey!? I was just reading the specs for the Four-5 and in the description it states, "Matching rainhood". Did yours come with a rainhood? Mine didn't. ???

It also says that it has a strap to prevent the legs from engaging, mine didn't and others complain about putting it on a cart, does anybody have the said strap? if so does it work?

    • Day 66: Played 18! Wasn't really keeping track of score, but guessing in the low 80s. Driving okay, iron play up and down, lagging putting really bad. Overall, it was good to get out and play.
    • Day 41 - 2026-01-30 More backswing and grip work on the mat / net. Also some mirror time focused on trail weight.
    • Day 12 (30 Jan 26) -  Had hoped the men’s group would be playing, but the cold temps and delayed opening kept them at bay. Spent some time on the range working on loading the trail foot on the backswing (focusing on loading the inner portion of the foot and collapsing the knee slightly toward the ball). Learned too much really brought on a left pull.  Easing back a bit, really helped compressing the ball and overall accuracy.  Took it to the course for a practice round, focusing on this small change.  Saw better dispersion across the bag….guess this will be part of the mirror work drills as snowpacolypse 2 hits eastern NC.
    • I’d go with the Titleist if you liked the look of the blades but were suffering with distance. They should be a little more forgiving than a full blade and still retain some workability. Also remember to consider the shafts each have as this will be a big contributor to how they feel. Clemsonfan is right though… get fit or spend a bit of time on a launch monitor 🤙
    • Day 28: 2026.01.30 Managed to make time for a few swings out back today. Need a proper bit of range time this weekend.
