Thinkin about getting a new shaft for my driver

ive been thinking for a while about getting a ner shaft for my driver

a Matrix Ozik xcon stiff. ive demoed a few driver that have it and it plays better than my stock shaft. the thing is that it costs 300 and that pretty much means i can go buy a new driver with one on it. i guess ive answered the my own question but what are your thoughs on re shafting a driver

I bought an FT-i Tour LCG from Callaway Pre-owned last spring with the X-con 6 in it for $150... considering the shaft is 200-300, I thought it was a pretty good deal. It looked brand new too... couldn't even tell it had been hit. FWIW... loving the shaft so far... stiff enough tip that I feel like I have good control, no balooning like some shafts, and still has a pretty good punch.

I have the Matrix Ozik Xcon 5.5 in my driver. It feels nice too. I haven't really compared it versus other shafts, the previous driver had the aldina nv 75 which was too heavy for me. Any of the new club heads with the Ozik would be nice. Give the R7 limited a try, you can easily find it for under $200 as well.

My two favorite shafts are the UST Avix Core and The Whiteboard shaft.
