I'm looking to purchase a couple shafts, was wondering when they say the pullout measures 42-43", does that mean the shaft is probably for a 3-wood?

A fast response would be much appreciated since the auction is ending soon.

Might be a stupid question, I think the Speedline driver is a 0.335 but is the fairway also 0.335 tip?

dont know about the tip sizes, but i cant see why they would change hosel size, that would be just mean....

but figure most drivers you need to insert the shaft 1.5 inches in to insure the shaft wont break, so a 42 inch shaft could be put in a driver, if you want it to play short, or you could put an extension in it, which i personally dont mind, but some people do. as for a three wood, i would think that would be about the perfect length. I would say go ahead and buy it, if you throw it in the driver and dont like it or it feels weird, you can always chop an inch and throw it in the 3 wood.

I've been hitting a lot of different drivers lately. 909D3 with a Rombax and Diamana BB. Tour Burner with a BB and a 09 Burner with a Rombax. I'm really liking the Rombax and have been thinking about upgrading my Grafalloy Blue shaft without paying a huge amount.

Just so I know that I am not getting ripped off, what is a decent price for a re-shaft and grip installation.

Under $30 (which would include the price of the grip) at a big box retailer - you can probably get it spined as well at a club maker for that price

50 bucks would cover SST puriing w/ the shaft being pulled and reinstalled.

I've heard cheaper for the SST Puring but I called an extremely well known maker out here in LI and that is their price.
