Im looking to pick one of these up and have heard a lot of good things about them(besides the impact sounds, but i dont care about that). So im just seeing if anyone on here has one or has experience with one and what you think about it.

i think ill actually like the sound, the loud bang of it kind of intrigues me.. What was your driver before this one?

I have it's predecessor, the HiBore XLS. Very good driver. Now it won't magically cure your driving problems, but put a good swing on it and you'll be smoking straight drives.
I have never hit straight drives before I got it.

im not looking for it to cure my swing or anything, i have a good swing and everything, idono i guess the burner is jsut not for me. and also is the only difference between the xls and xls monster is that the cllubface and sweet spot is bigger?

According to Cleveland Golf, yes, the Monster is supposed to have a bigger face and a larger sweet spot. To be honest with you, I don't think there is much difference between the two. But you can get the Monster at rockbottomgolf for $169, while the XLS costs around $130-150 on most online stores, so if I were you I'd just get the newer Monster, even though I am 100% sure there isn't much of a difference.

(also check the Cleveland Launcher 2009, a very underrated SOB, also for $169 on rbg)

My son has a Hibore XLS, and has been booming it good. He is only been playinng for a year he is 13 and he has made some longer drive's then I have. If you say your not worried about the sound you should go hit one before you buy it cause this driver makes a sound that will ring your head, it sounds cool but is very very loud when you hit it good.

Before I bought it I read a lot about it's sound, but when I hit my first shot with it, I couldn't believe it. I was sure something went wrong, the head flew away or something. It was just too loud, louder than I ever expected, that my ears buzzed for a few moments after the hit.

Add a slight sinus headache or a hangover and it will make the eye's water

Tried over 9 different drivers in early June, and kept on coming back
to the Monster Hibore XLS: hit it further and straighter consistently.
The noise at impact doesn't bother me at all. In fact I like it.
A colleague of mine with a 10 handicap fell in love with the Monster driver
as well. But didn't like the noise so passed on it. C'est la vie.

did you or vladie try out the regular hibore xls as well when yall tested drivers? and if so was there much differnce? cause i dont want to drop the extra 80 bucks if there is not much difference in them.

only thing i know is different is that the face is slightly bigger and the mo(forgivness) on the monster max's out usga limits at 5900 and the regular xls is at 5300

i tried them both -pretty much the same . the monster has a slighty larger sweet spot due to the increased face but on-center hits were the same for me . I was going to get the XLS but found a Monster miss-marked with the XLS price and they honored it
