New to golf from Warwickshire, England

Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I've recently taken up golf (within the past 2 months) after visiting some cousins in Binghamton, NY. I mentioned that I had been down to a driving range a couple of times and they got me onto some courses and now I'm hooked! Got back to the UK and picked up a Wilson X-31 set and have been playing as much as I can at my local municipal.

Being a bit of a comp geek and forever bored at work, I've managed to find my way onto here and thought I'd say hello.

I'm back home near(ish) Leeds again, but I attended Warwick University for my BSc. Really nice area down there! I never got a chance to play golf there, mostly because when ferrying your livelihood to and from a university you tend not to have room for your set of clubs

It is nice around here and now that I've started noticing all the golf courses, there are loads! You should come back at some time and play them, even the council course in Leamington is pretty good for what you pay.

I was a bit worse with carting big stuff around at uni, I had to ferry a Kayak there and back most holidays!
