Was on the par 5 3rd hole at Callippe GC in Pleasanton, CA playing w/ my dad. I hit my drive off the heel a tad so I had 273 yards left for my second shot up the hill. I could barely see the top of the flag stick. I took out my 3 wood and gave it a rip. I pure'd a butter draw up there. Flew it on the green from 273 and ended up 25 ft for eagle. I 2 putted for birdie but that 3 wood shot was so solid.

I made a great par on the 18Th,tried the hero shot of getting on the green in two and my 2ND clipped the top of the tree, took my drop and hit the wedge
25 feet beyond the pin,pin was at front and made the 25 foot slick putt.

LOL how'd you try and go at it in 2? It looked like from the GPS that the fairway ended at like 319 from the tips and the hole is like 573. That's quite a long second shot that you have to bend around the trees and carry over that gorge. I just said forget it, I'm laying up and hit 2 iron off the tee then laid up to like 150 out or so. That would have been a hell of a par 5 to reach in 2. The 3rd hole is less impressive to reach in 2 :P

    • Phew... lol
    • Phil M was (is?) was a total cowboy in his day but served him well at the Masters it seems.
    • Rory at the crime scene again from yesterday (#15).. Let's see what he does after this piped drive. If he mangles this b**** again, Imma go out and jump in a puddle.
    • If you're going to make claims, back them up with facts. Do you have any facts that support this claim that Rory does this when under pressure?    Did the hyper aggression negatively affect his play when he won The Players this year making that 2 wins in 4 starts for him at that point? Can you provide some evidence directly showing how his hyper aggression has negatively affected his play?   This isn't even accurate anymore, they called the divorce off.  If you're going to criticize someone at least get your facts straight.
    • Why if you're just going to wait next? Are they behind? Rounds took over five hours yesterday.
