I'm looking for a replacement shaft for my Ping Rapture. My ss is around 85 or so... I love the feel of the head when I hit a good one, but I would lose a little distance for more control. I'm interested in a shaft that will keep the ball as straight as possible, and give me forgiveness on mishits. Any suggestions at what I can start looking at?

Get fitted is the only advice I can give. Generally, though, the heavier and stiffer the shaft, the straighter the ball goes...but get fitted.

In my Ogio Ozone Bag:
TM Superquad 9.5* UST Proforce 77g Stiff
15* Sonartec SS-2.5 (Pershing stiff)
19* TM Burner (stock stiff)

Hi, take a look at the UST site. I suggest the V2 high launch wood be a good starting point but as above you need to be fitted.
