I got fitted for the Titleist AP2 irons three months ago. My specs were standard loft, lie, grip size and length with the Project X 5.5. I ordered the clubs on a British online dealer and had to wait two weeks for them to get them from the Acushnet facility. When they sent them to Norway I found out they were right handed and had to ship them back. They will send me the new AP2s but the stock shaft is the DG S300. I was told by their sales manager that the ballflight shouldn't change because the clubs have been designed to launch the ball the same way with different shafts.
Is this true? Have any guys hit them and noted a difference between the Project X and the DG S300?
I don't want to get fitted again so any help would be appreciated.

the ball flight is similar but they are a bit harder to work the ball with.
i am thinking that the dynamic gold shafts are the cause of this
however, the trajectory is pretty much the same

thanks jbl. i'm glad to hear this, i don't work the ball much apart from hitting punch shots and i was impressed by how easy it was to do that with the 08 AP2. Can't wait to play with them next week.
