OK I have a bad habit of checking eBay. I logged on, went to clubs and found this with 1 minute to go. I bought it for $10.57. Now after looking all over the web I think I just bought a $5 club for $10 plus shipping. What is Snake Eyes?
What do you think?

New Snake Eyes 600B 7 Iron. Right handed, Rifle 5.5 shaft (stiff flex). Club head is a muscle back blade. length is 37 1/2".

Come on - George Low and AC108? You've been playing for how many years now? They've made decent clubs (knock offs, components, whatever) for a lot of years. Regardless, you just bought a stiff shafted muscleback 7-iron. This could be step one in buying a new set of forged blades or a great practice club. Either way, use the "watch item" feature then hit Google. Buyers remorse is magnified by shipping costs - imagine the extra $60 hit added when the seller ships international with UPS - ouch!

sean_miller, come on now, how many years have you been playing? snake eeyes in no way shape or form makes knock off/ copied clubs. They make their own clubs and they are very good and high quality. I have snkaeyes fairway woods, my grandpa has everything snake eyes besides his driver and putter.

That bit in parentheses was an homage to an earlier debate regarding whether or not Snake Eyes were components or knockoffs. Like the blades/not true blades debate, it's subjective and pointless. I don't hit own any Snake Eyes clubs, but I've known people who played their wedges and irons (years ago - they claimed to be quite pleased with them).

Yes I am old. I only vaguely recognized Snake Eyes as a brand and confused them with the clubs Ryan Moore just bought into. I was jazzed about picking up one of those for fun.
Now I have had time to see it is Scratch Golf not Snake Eyes. I am glad to hear Snake Eyes is a good product, now it will be fun to have and the price is OK.
One point though, this means I just bought a club assembled by some dude in Tx, right? So It still may be a $5 club... huh.

Sean, your the first person to comment on the George Low. I bought it new when I was young I had no idea what I had until this summer when I decided to get new clubs and thought about selling my old sticks.

Don't do it. My indoor set consists of a mix of persimmons and old blades - they make indoor golf interesting - bring life to an otherwise sterile environment. Last week I used a set peppered with MacGregor - Powerbilt driver, MacGregor Eye-o-matic 3 wood, Golden Ram 5 wood. MacGregor M75 (2-10) irons, MacGregor MT 56* wedge, and a my mint condition

George Low Sportsman Wizard 600 putter - not really a MacGregor, but connected to a certain MacGregor gamer nonetheless.

Sean, yours is worth bucks, mine is worth little other than the fun of it being of the series. Do you know what the alloy is? Mine rattled in my bag for a very long time.

They're a pretty small company compared to other brands.

Their woods and drivers are meant to be great.
Don't know about irons.

I think mine is a reproduction (mid-80s perhaps) because it has a Ram shaft. Yours looks like vintage pewter (whatever that is - lead and aluminum with a hint of mercury?). Do you suffer from tourettes after playing 36 holes? I do.

Simply that when I saw a club that began in S I thought about Ryan Moore's company and bid. It would be fun to have a Scratch club. I am finding myself starting to collect a few clubs just to have them around.
