I have a Winn midsize pistol and I do like it. However, it is pretty soft. I am struggling a bit with distance control and thought perhaps a firmer grip would be of benefit but have no idea to be honest what to expect. Would anyone share what grip they have on their putter and why. Particularly as it pertains to firmer than usual grips. But any other grip info appreciated of course. Looking for a new aftermarket shaft and need to find a good grip. Possibly a firm one. Winn has a new one coming out in mid Dec, likely in stores by early January. Looks nice, but not available as of yet. Just got off the phone with the nice folks at Winn. The model is below...

I have the scotty cameron baby T grip on my putter. That thing rules. Its very durable as well. Best combo of comfort and control ive had in a putter grip. You could also try the pingman grip. Its a very thin grip and its not the most comfortable, but i felt very connected to the whole putter when i used to use it.

i believe the odyssey xg series has a winn grip. i really like tacky grips, much like the baby t mentioned above. i find it easier to control distance than with cord grips.

I was kind of "handsy" with the original grip on my putter. I switched to the Tiger Shark oversize grip and my feel and control are much better.

Stand Utley says that smaller putter grip give you better feel and distance control.

I switched to Baby T too and it rocks !

Thanks for the suggestions. Been reading up a bit and it sounds like the IOMIC putter grips offer good feel. I have never seen one though. Lots of options is seems. I am hoping a firmer grip will help with distance control. It seems logical that it would.
