Meadow Farms (Locust Grove, VA)

The home of the US longest hole. 841 yards from the back set.

Has anyone ever played there? I am noticing that it isnt the nicest course, but seems fun to play. I am going to be in that area tomorrow morning so I went ahead and set up a tee time with some buddies.

They seem to have quite a few water holes and are known for the longest hole in the States and the "waterfall" hole!

Fill me in on some opinions and thoughts..

To be brutally honest, I hated the course. I played there and it turned into a 6 hour round. Shitty carts, shitty fairways, shitty rough, shitty greens, and a longer line than Space Mountain at Disney. The longest hole was dumb imo. Kinda funny cause the course is owned/maintained by Meadows Farm which is a garden place so you'd think the course would be in good shape but it wasn't close. The rangers were 'tards as well.

Can you tell that I didn't like this course one bit? Lol.

I actually didnt like it either... it literally is an all day even when you play!!
