Funny you said that. I looked at that course before coming down. Wasnt sure what to expect being a muny but today I stopped by the course on the way to our cabin. Guess what? Yup, same course. Haha. Voted best muny in 09 and looks pretty well kept even after the rain theyve had here lately. I'm going to go tomorrow if it doesn't rain. I'll let you know. :)

I played this course a couple of years ago and #12 is a very wild par 3, with a long long time to watch your ball realizing it's going left or right. Very nice course. Also I played Bent Creek closer to Pigon Forge and it also has a par 3 along the same lines but it has 2 or 3 par 4's that you have to tee off to a flag then go around a hill or like one hole, down a valley to the green. I lked it better because it was in about the same condition for early in the season, but a bit cheaper on the price. Gatlinburg doesn't change the rates for fall or winter,I belive it's the same all the time.

Yessir, very true, many nice courses. However, many folks who have played in G'berg have been to this muni and now, YENNER can participate in the golf stories.

I played River Islands once and really liked it... but that was 10 1/2 years ago. It could definitely have changed since then.
