Vancouver, BC Connection - Lower Mainland

I haven't seen a similar thread yet, so here it is...

What part of the lower mainland are you out of? Where do you play out of?

Like a few of you (I'm sure), I'm new to the lower mainland although I've been coming here for business for 5 years. Finally moved the family out, moved to Furry Creek (mostly to be near a golf course) in June of 08, from Edmonton. I was too far from the city (kids school), so we settled again in West Van this summer. I thought I would join a men's club, but I soon learned none existed on the North Shore, at least that I know of, so I've just been catching a game here and there, with a few friends and hackers . Used to play 100 rounds a year, now it's a dozen if I'm lucky, mostly due to being busy setting up business, etc, but also due to lack of regular men's league. So now I'm officially in golf withdrawal . Northlands tells me they're trying to get a men's league going, so that might be good. 2010 will be back up over 50 rounds...

Perhaps this thread can be used for the Vancouverites out there who don't know each other yet and for groups that need to fill up 4-somes or singles looking for a game...
