Difference between RCH 99 and RCH 96

I'm looking at a couple older Callaway fairway woods. What's the difference between the RCH 99 and RCH 96 shafts if they are both "Firm" flexes? Also would those shafts be acceptable if I have a SS of 98 MPH with driver?

In a staff blue  Aerolite III

Must not be a difference then, just different names.

The difference is most likely the overall weight of the uncut shaft. Not sure but the 96 may be a 60 gram shaft and the 99 a 90 gram shaft.

Just checked my old OEM chart and there doesn't appear to be much difference at all. Same weight, flex (in CPMs), torque, etc.
Color maybe? Pixie dust?
