I went to golf show this weekend looking for nothing in particular and left impressed at the feel and look of the Ping i15 driver. I only had about 25 swings with it into a net 15 yards in front of me, but the feel of the driver was simply something I didnt expect. I've always been a Taylor Made kinda guy, but this new Ping has got me thinking to drop the $350.

Im kinda put off a bit because the reviews I read state its a low handicapper club and i'm no low handicapper. I generally shoot in the low 90's and break 90 once in a while, but have gone through a complete and utter overhaul of my swing and am starting to feel more comfortable with it.

With that being said, anyone play with this club, test it out, or can give some additional input? Let me know...

Have you tried the G10? Ive hit the i15 and length doesnt seem to be much different. The G-10 is easier to hit straight (to me). I'm going to say because of the weigting in the club itself. Both of the clubs are good drivers, it would just depend on your preference in feel and control.

The i15 is absolutely a great club!!! Best club I've ever had the pleasure to wrap my hands around. It's great for shot shaping and is crazy long for a PING driver. My off-center hits do come off a little errant but not something out of the norm that I won't be able to get myself out of trouble should it happen. It has great feedback and the 2° open club face to promote a fade biased style club sits well. I love the way it looks at address and am completely satisfied with what's in my bag. To be honest, I believe it's the best driver PING has come out with in years. It is for low handicappers, but if you say your swing is getting better than why not give it a shot?
