Ok well I have a problem... Well I think it's a problem.

I feel like I play great, except that I never know where the ball is gonna go. I usually shoot good because it goes in a general direction of where I think I might be aimed, but my short game almost always bails me out of this. I mean, I never know where it's gonna go. I usually pick out a general area and take a swing. Hopefully it will stay in play and be somewhere where I have a shot.

What on earth do I need to do to fix this?

focus....practice at the range picking a specific target and align to hit it. should help you 'feel' it's going where you want it to in time. in time it will catch up to you if you do'nt know where it's going...there's a good chance your body wont' tell it to go to the right place either.

In my Titleist 2014 9.5" Staff bag:

Cobra Bio+ 9* Matrix White Tie X  - Taylormade SLDR 15* ATTAS 80X - Titleist 910H 19* ATTAS 100X - Taylormade '13 TP MC 4-PW PX 6.5 - Vokey TVD M 50* DG TI X100 - Vokey SM4 55 / Vokey SM5 60* DG TI S400 - Piretti Potenza II 365g

Thanks, It catches up to me about one in every five rounds, which is why im usually wildly inconsistent in tournements...

sounds like you need to borrow one of my spears, you know the ones i keep in my bag and throw around... i use them on the range to help me figure out exactly how much im drawing and cutting the ball so i can then play for it on the course

You definately can get an idea of what im talking about. Example: On hole 3 I try to set up so that Im aiming left of the pond and right of the trees close to the OB fence. That's a big area to aim at, same for hole 9, I set up so that hopefully I'll hit it right of the treeline but left of the rocks. Somehow I accidentally hit it good most of the time so I don't really play bad. But it kinda keeps me from ever going

Really low, instead of just hitting a hot streak here and there.

sounds like you need to be range bound.... if it would open... even though it was open today...(looks outside, raining).... well that didnt last long
