I hit the practice green yesterday and my putter felt a little funny. It seemed to me that it was bent open somehow and it made a stange sound when i struck putts. How would you check that sort of thing? Bring it in to a club maker? I have a SC studio select mid-slant.

what were you doing to the putter beforehand???????

Aren't the just solid metal? don't know what could have happened to it.
Bring it into a shop that works with clubs and ask them about it.

Future ideas: You might want to put headcover on putter when it's not in use. Especially in offseason. Prevents bag-damage when in storage.
