OK, so Taylormade had an option to order a Fujikura Speeder 757 in their R7 460 driver, and Fujikura also sells a Speeder 757 that I can buy at a golf shop. Are they the same shaft or is it just a name? I've included pics of the two shafts. Thanks!!!

This is the Fujikura one that's on their website, you can buy separately, etc
(Link to it on their website --- http://www.fujikuragolf.com/2009/pages/757.html )

This is the one in the Taylormade:

I can't find the Tayloremade one on Fujikura's website. Are these the same or is the Taylormade one much worse? Thanks!!

The shafts are almost certainly the same the only difference is the graphics, Fujikura simply makes a taylormade branded speeder 757 for taylormade same way Aldila makes a voodoo shaft for the new zero limit driver from cobra.

They are the same except for the graphics, just like Gebus said. Fujikura, and plenty of other shaft-makers, make shafts only for one club manufacturer, like the Reax shaft made by Aldila for Taylormade. But if you see the Voodoo or Motore F1 or 757 Speeder with different graphics, it's still the same shaft. I only mentioned those 3 because those seem like 3 of the most popular ones with club-maker specific graphics in the new drivers.

Thank you much! Oh, one more question, is it true this shaft is made in China? I know Fuji is Japan, but the TM shafts and whatnot, are they Chinese made? Thanks!

Unless I am mistaken all fujikura shafts are made in japan and they ship them to wherever their customer (taylormade) assembles the club.

I believe Gebus is right about the countries as well. No proof of this, but I can't imagine it's cheaper to build them in 2 places.
