Wisconsin is finally thawing out! Neat little 9 hole course near me opened this morning and I was the 4th man out. A few snow banks to contend with and plenty of soggy low spots, but it felt great to be playing and the practice I did this winter hitting into a net seems to have paid off as I was hitting the ball pretty well. Temps hanging near 60 and plans are to play again Thursday, then the forecast is calling for "normal" again (ie - rain and 40's) beginning this weekend and right thru next week ... Oh well - it's a start!!.

Playing Silverspring CC - The Island course...Anyone on here play before I do please let me know how the course condition is? I'm sure its wet and thawing but any information will help!

For the last 3 days I have been hitting balls in my backyard. An easy PW of 125+ yards. My local nine holer is playable but I'm wanting to get a tempo going before I play. I've got a trip to D.C. planned for the end of the week so maybe next week for Sconnie Golf. Have fun out there Boyder, Trog, shanker.

OK ... this is bad ... I squeezed in another 9 after work this afternoon ... now my poor feet REALLY hurt (breaking in new shoes) ... but it was so much fun!!!
It's gonna be tough staying in the office the rest of the week.
