I've got a 60* vokey and I'm looking to replace my SW which is 55 degrees.

I don't hit full shots with my wedges and am just wondering do I go for 54* or 56*?
The 54 is cheaper so if there isn't much of a difference I'll probably go with that.

If you've only got a PW and a 60*(in other words, no gap wedge), I guess I'd go with the 54*. I always find it easier to take something off a wedge shot then to try and muscle it. So...I'd rather have the stronger lofted club.

But that's purely based on loft - the other factor you need to think about is bounce.

I don't know what the bounce on my cobra's is.

7* works great for my 60* I think I'll move up to 10* for the 54*

Looking at your bag & if you've got the dough, you have room for more clubs, so you could actually get both a "sand" in the 56* range and a "gap" of 50-52*. That's what i carry and my 50* is my perfect 100-yard distance (PW = 110-115 yds and 54* = 90 yards)

Driver: Cleveland Classic 270, 10.5*
Fairway Woods: Adams Speedline LP (3 & 5)

This is a late post but with that 45 degree pitching wedge and some room in the bag, you might want to consider a 49 or 50 degree gap wedge, and a 54 degree sand wedge to go between the gap wedge and 60 degree.  You can pretty easily find a 54 with 10 to 14 degrees of bounce

Driver: Taylor Made  Rocketballz Stage 2
3 wood: Rocketballz Stage 2
4 wood: Rocketballz Stage 2
Hybrids: Cleveland 20 and 23.5 degree
Irons: Mizuno MP57 5-7, Mizuno MP62 8-9 Wedges: Mizuno MP62 Pitching Wedge, 49 degree,  Titleist Vokey SM4  55.13 (bent from 56.14) Sand Wedge, Titleist Vokey SM4 60.10 Lob wedge
