I'm always trying to improve my game ... my equipment has been a huge part of my quick skill improvement over the past 4 years.

Confidence is key ..

I'm pretty sure I've found a driver, 3 wood and hybrids that I'm going to stick with for some time ... however my iron shots are not 100% where I want it to be. I had my zuno's custom made this year and although I love them and most likely will never part with them, I am not completely satisfied with my game.

So after thinking today .. I've decided I'm going to continue my search for different irons... maybe I find something I hit better, maybe I don't and I continue my practice to be perfect.

So for you guys that have played Mizuno MP irons for more than 1 round ...

1.) Have you played any other similar irons that are compatible that you hit better or worse?
2.) Have you switched to or from these irons and what are your experiences?

Please know that I understand completely that everyone is different with equipment and that I should "hit what I'm most comfortable with" ... I tell that to tons of guys on this forum .. so spare the comment :)

I guess I'm just looking for the few guys that may have played these before or after a different set and what their experiences were.

Some other iron configurations I'm looking at:

Nike VR Blade PW-8 & Nike Forged Split Cavity 7-5
Cobra S2 Forged 7-5 & Pro MB Blade PW-8
Titleist AP2 & Possible MB Blades

2010 S2 Driver - Stiff - (-.5")
