So in the grand scheme of things, who the F cares and let's watch him play golf which is the only thing that should matter to any of us.

So do you think that as long as he shoots 67 everything's cool?

Obviously a lot of people care. I care. Don't write in a forum and tell us you don't care. Why do that? You've got the greatest golfer ever in what should be his prime throwing it all away to screw porn stars. I care about that a lot, becasue I love golf. I'm not judging him, I'm just stunned that he would do this. The guy has won 14 major tournaments, a billion dollars, married to a beautiful woman with two great kids, and it wasn't enough. That is a concern. Nothing around him seems to have changed. The same people, the same methods. That is a big concern. I have ben a fan since he started, and I still am. But I want to know that even if he wins this week and every other week, will he be happy? Will it be enough? I don't want him drinking or taking drugs or hurting himself in a couple of years because he still doesn't understand what the problem is. Mate, golf is the last thing that matters, really.

"That's Golf!"

Well said.

I've followed Tiger closely since his blazing performance during the 1997 Masters. His on course acheivements have been nothing short of awesome. He's helped elevate the $$$$ for all the golfers on tour. He's inspired many to take up the game. He's done a lot through his foundation and other charitable undertakings. He has become a role model for many of our youth. That is natural, I suppose. He does owe them, as he said himself during his conference Monday, a better behaved Tiger. He owes his wife and kids, too. That's for him to sort out privately. Personally, I can't see how she'd stay with someone who's been out whoring around to the level that he has. But, that's her decision. I thought the Augusta National Chairman's speech said it best. Tiger has a lot of work to do. I'm ready for the golf. I'm tired of the bullcrap that Tiger has brought to the game these last 5 months. I hold him responsible for this onslought of maddness.

    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
    • Is that the current generation Gamer? Another old standby for a firm and inexpensive ball is Pinnacle.  There are two models, the Rush and the Soft, but I don’t know what compression they are.
    • Good advice, but according to DSG website it is a 45 compression ball. My current ball is the Top-flite Gamer at 70. 45 is too low for me to go.
    • The 3 piece Maxfli Trifli is 2 dozen for $35.  The Trifli does not feel as soft as the Maxfli Softfli, which is why I like it. Other options would be one of the Srixons, which have a buy 2 get 1 free offer.
    • I have been carrying a 7 wood more often this year.  It’s especially handy if you have a downhill lie to an uphill green.  It’s also handy if the rough on the course is deep.
