I have been looking a new sets of irons and was wondering if any players have the Titleist ZB's in their bag and their thoughts on them? Thanks in advance for the participation....

I wanted them until I hit them. For some reason they felt a little dead to me and when i hit them next to the AP2 it wasn't even close. I had the 690.MB's like you have and feel of those is better than the ZB.

I'm currently playing the ZM blades, which are similar in feel to the ZB set, although a bit tougher to hit in the longer irons. Personally, I love them. Having hit both, I'd prefer the ZB however.

They aren't as soft feeling as some other forged sets, but the feedback and feel is preferable to me over the AP2, which although sweet, lack the true feedback a blade can give.

I love mine and won't get rid of them until they are bare metal. Originally, they were at the bottom of my list. After I hit them a few times on different occasions they went to the top. Preferred them over the AP2. They were tied with the MP-67s at the top. I could have went either way and been happy, but got a better deal on the ZB and haven't looked back.

One of the things I love about them is when you hit them right, they feel pure, when you don't, you know exactly where you went wrong. I want to know that if I come up short, it is because I missed the sweet spot by a little, and not wonder if I misjudged the shot.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.
